Akismet WordPress plugin on of the best plugin from Automattic for protecting blogs from spam comments has released a new version of Akismet 2.5.1 fully loaded with features that you were waiting for. in the new version there are some awesome features which will make your blogs more secure from spam bots. Some of the awesome features are as below:

• All links in the comment is highlighted without going to edit comment option, reveal hidden or misleading links.
• The status badge is now displayed only when needed.
• Shows the comment count from the same author in the dashboard.
• Fixes a problem with the Auto-Delete Spam option that prevented spam from being deleted.
• Spam and Unspam reports now include more information
• Comment status history which will show if the comment cleared Akismet protection firewall.
