Taiwanese Chipmaker MediaTek announced that its flagship 5G processor named MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, will be powering multiple 5G devices in India from January 2021. Earlier, in December, during the India Mobile Congress 2020, MediaTek introduced the Dimesnity 800U as the first 5G Dimensity processor in India. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ will come in as an enhanced version of the Dimensity 1000 processor and powers phones like the Redmi K30 Ultra, Realme X7 Pro, and more.
