Dell Technologies has once again played the winning cards with the first-ever virtual #DellTechForum. Bringing out a distinct depiction of how the digital future will look like and what organizations need to do in order to thrive forward, the Forum delivered everything that businesses need to know today.
Like previous years, this year’s Forum did not fail to amaze me with the vault of information on technology, innovations and groundbreaking solutions by Dell Technologies and partners. The keynotes delivered by the organization’s leaders helped me deep-dive into how technology can transform not just businesses alone but also human lives, how can emerging technologies be leveraged to plan the digital journey ahead, what role does multi-cloud play and how to create a connected ecosystem – all delivered through industry statistics and amazing way of representation.
What grabbed my attention during the keynote sessions was when Alok Ohrie, President and Managing Director, Dell Technologies India, mentioned the ways Dell Technologies was committed to improving and enabling the skillsets of the younger population in India – A much-needed initiation to take the country to its digital future.
The insights from the keynote sessions were followed by an interesting panel discussion, aptly titled ‘Ready for What’s Next!’. The panel was hosted by CNBC and had CXOs from different industries discussing and sharing thoughts on their digital transformation journeys in 2020, and their plans for the coming future. CNBC, being a business news channel, highlighted how the current scenario has accelerated the adoption of digital technologies across the globe. The discussions panned across how emerging technologies like the Cloud, 5G, AI & ML can shape businesses of the future; how workforce and workplaces have shifted from what was to what could be; adopting of AI to enhance connectivity across services; cybersecurity in a connected world and much more.
Post this discussion, there were interesting breakout sessions that helped audiences like me to take a deeper look at the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of digital transformation today. It also brought forth how Dell Technologies, with its broadest portfolio of solutions and services, is helping different organizations to accelerate innovation in a multi-cloud era. Some of the discussions that amazed me are the latest tech trends in this new world, how to design a remote work strategy, endpoint security in a connected environment, and not to forget the optimized use of Artificial Intelligence.
The forum was no short of an information hub that helped me realize that though we are faced with unprecedented challenges, with technology and innovation there is always a possibility to emerge stronger and better. This is what this year’s #DellTechForum highlighted through its keynote sessions, CXO panel discussion and insightful breakout sessions.
But that wasn’t all! I was also captivated by the inspiring fireside chat that had host Mandira Bedi and Rahul Dravid, as the guest speaker. Truly an amazing experience to hear the cricket legend talk about his life and career – a genuinely humble soul.
The event concluded with a soulful performance by Papon who had amazed the audience with his fusion music. This is definitely how you wrap-up an event.
In a nutshell, the virtual #DellTechForum was able to deliver a kaleidoscopic experience to all its audience – with information on technology and innovation, definite path to digitalization, leadership perspectives, inspiration aplenty and entertainment. Everything that a virtual event should have. I am glad to have been a part of it, as I take back a lot of learning from this event. Which also makes me hopeful for the next.
