Picnik which is the popular website for online photo editing is shutting down on 19th April. This online photo editing tool (Picnik) team joined Google in 2010 and provided many useful effects and tools to its users in free and premium versions. Since it is shutting down, Picnik is giving the opportunity to everyone to use its Premium features for free until its closing date. Reason behind the closing Picnik is not clear but Google has announced that it is about to focus on even better thing. When it comes to refund of paid users, Premium members of Picnik have already got their money back and the issues in the same can contact picnic team with original financial institution used to buy the premium membership.
How to Fetch Your Picnik Photos?
Picnik team has created “Picnik Takeout” option which let you download your images in a zip file. Picnik team makes the zip file containing all of your photos when you choose “Picnik Takeout” option, once it is ready you will be informed with an email notification, further you can visit your personal Picnik Takeout Menu and download the zip files to your computer. It is a notable point that Picnik Takeout feature is available only until 19th April of this year. The slideshows created in Picnik will also be deleted after 19th April therefore it is a good idea to download the images used in show and create the new one in other slideshow generating website.
