Use strong and unbreakable admin passwords
Intruders can also break into your wireless network by using brute force attack. When someone keeps on trying different login codes on your router, it is possible for that person to get access to your network if you are using something simple and generic to secure your network.
Routers are always built with default passwords and admin usernames, which are easy to get. Anyone that has little experience about wireless network can guess the default password of a router right. In such a case, it will become easy for that person to control your network without your notice. Some people might try to change your admin details which will stop you from having access to it again.
Make sure you change your default password to something only unique to you. It will be more secure if you use a combination of numbers and symbols as your password.
